She accessorized with some simple gold bangles and a skinny gold headband. What do you think of Freida’s look? Was it a Hit or a Miss? Share your thoughts below.

Jessica Biel attends Fashion Group International's Night of Stars in N.Y.C. wearing a flowing keyhole white gown with oversized layered puff sleeves. She completed her look with a bronze gilded leaf belt
Labor day has come and gone and white continues to make a strong appearance on the red carpet. Jessica Biel who’s had quite a few strong “white looks” over the past few months, stepped out last night in N.Y.C in a very bold Giambattista Valli look. Wearing a flowing keyhole white gown with oversized layered puff sleeves paired with a bronze gilded leaf belt, she was the perfect picture of a winter goddess. Her soft hair and make up added to her overall ethereal look. What do you think of Jessica’s look? Hit or Miss?

Ooh la la… The Giambatista Valli Capsule Collection launches at Macy’s today
Who: Über talented Coutourier, Giambattista Valli is making a fashionable stop at Macy’s. Known for his extravagant designs and great party dresses, the collection will be Valli’s first foray into affordable fashion.
What: With heavy hitters like Karl Lagerfeld and Matthew Williamson having already paved the way, Giambattista Valli is joining the ranks and bringing his couture sensibility to everyday and special occasion pieces, just in time for the holiday season. No one does color or print like Monsieur Valli and he most certainly doesn’t hold back with this collection. His work not only shows an elegant craftsmanship but his love for the female form and spirit.
“This capsule reflects my enduring loves, but is really a celebration of my biggest inspiration of all – the energy and vitality of women themselves,” said Giambattista Valli. “I love dressing them for all their happiest moments, making them feel as special as possible. This collection is a passport into my world and a chance to experience the passion and romance of my house and Paris itself.”
Already counting fashion stars like Rihanna and Sarah Jessica Parker as fans, the designer will no doubt be adding many more appreciative women to his fan base with the launch of this collection. The capsule collection will feature all the elements that have made Valli an international sensation over the past few years. Expect feminine fabrics, bold prints and shocking color. Priced on average from $50-$150, the line will showcase cocktail dresses, flirty skirts, feminine blouses, lightweight jackets, edgy pants and graphic t-shirts.

Look of the day – Amanda Seyfried brings a splash of color to fall
It’s easy to default to black and gray as the winter months approach and we’ve definitely been seeing a lot of that on the red carpet lately. Thankfully, there’s still a splash of color popping up here and there. This week, Amanda Seyfried star of the upcoming thriller In Time, steps out in an explosion of color thanks to Prabal Gurung. Her purple dress featuring an interesting print, flared skirt and cinched with a black belt is a standout piece and we hope many more will follow in her footsteps. What do you think of Amanda’s look?
Stepping out in another explosion of print: Lucy Liu goes bold in Giambattista Valli
Look of the day – Kate Bosworth dares to bare in an edgy Proenza Schouler look
Actress, Kate Bosworth has shown us over the past few years that when it comes to fashion, she’s not afraid to take a risk. Case in point, this Proenza Schouler ensemble from the designer’s spring 2012 collection.
The look: She pairs her neon and animal print cropped top with a belted high-waisted skirt and black wedges.
The event: A lunch celebrating The 2011 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists in Los Angeles.
The verdict: This is a very risky look but I think she pulls it off well. It’s young and edgy and works well with her physique. In the age of cookie-cutter Hollywood style, it’s refreshing to see Kate marching to the beat of her own drum and carrying that beat with confidence.

Look of the day – Lucy Liu goes bold in Giambattista Valli
Who knew she was multi-talented? Lucy Liu took a risk with a bold shouldered Giambattista Valli print dress at the launch of her book “Lucy Liu: Seventy Two”in New York City. The book features 72 abstract ink and acrylic paintings created by the actress. She added a pop of color to her black and white dress with a turquoise clutch by Tory Burch. What do you think of Lucy’s look? Did her risk pay off?
Trend Spotting – The allure of the Peter Pan collar + tips to make this trend your own
There’s nothing immature about the latest trend gaining speed in fall fashion. The Peter Pan collar is a mix of ladylike qualities and youthful independence. It’s slightly delicate and playful at the same time. Hollywood of course is front and center with this trend. From the runways of Louis Vuitton to the red carpet and magazine covers, Stars can’t seem to get enough. Here are some stand out looks featuring the Peter Pan collar.
Test driving the trend: The Peter Pan collar happens to be one of my favorite features on a jacket. I’m a huge fan of 50s and 60s style jackets and have found over the years that I’ve acquired quite a few pieces with the Peter Pan collar. It’s allure to me is that it’s delicate, structured and ladylike all at once.
Style Tip: A jacket with a Peter Pan collar can be buttoned up or even played up with a scarf tied into a bow. In the past, I’ve paired the light wool jacket I’m wearing above with skinny jeans and over-the-knee boots as well as with a pencil skirt. I love that it’s that versatile.
What do you think of the Peter Pan collar? Would you wear it?

Who wore it best? Three Stars take on one look (Kate Moss vs. Fergie vs. Gwyneth Paltrow)
The battle: Today’s edition of ‘Who wore it best?‘ features 3 heavyweights lightweights from the worlds of fashion, music and acting. Kate Moss, Fergie and Gwyneth Paltrow are all sporting one of fall’s biggest trends — the Peter Pan collar.
The brand: Louis Vuitton
Who: Kate Moss strutted down the Louis Vuitton runway in the look; Fergie partied in the same look at the AmfAR Inspiration Gala in Paris while Gwneth Paltrow rocked her look on one of her multiple covers for Elle Magazine.
So who wore it best? This is such a daring look that all three ladies get kudos for even attempting to make this work. Kate looks amazing at LV but since most pieces on the runway don’t even make it into production — mainly because they don’t translate into the real world, Fergie gets some extra points for wearing this look to a party. Sorry Gwyneth but unfortunately, retouched magazine covers don’t count as reality. Fergie is obviously very confident and comfortable with herself which are 2 very important qualities needed to carry off such a bold look. Her opaque tights and lace up boots also work perfectly with the overall edgy ensemble. Who do you think wore it best? Share your thoughts below…

Stacy swears by Dr. Scholl’s ball of foot cushions.

Stacy is a big fan of the lady like pieces inspired by the 50s and 60s that have filled the runways for the past few seasons.
