Last summer brought us jeggings but this time around, bright spring and summer colors are inspiring a trip to the 80s with the re-introduction of colored denim. As usual, a lot of your favorite celebs have caught on to this trend and already sporting their fave colors.
Style Tip: There are all kinds of ways to go wrong with this trend. Avoid turning into an 80s bomb by keeping this look clean and clutter free. Stick with colors that compliment your skin tone. Colors like a light peach will elongate your legs if you have fair skin. Unless you’re color blocking, you already have enough color on the bottom so don’t complicate things on top. Pair your jeans with a simple blouse or camisole and finish of with a structured and well fitted blazer.
Tell us what you think of this 80s re-introduction….are you feeling it?
The shocking color game continues this spring with Blake Lively in a Marchesa mini. The Gossip Girl beauty is no stranger to bold colors and red is a sure way to stand out on any red carpet. The actress is a big fan of the British Fashion House and their clothes have been a staple for her at several industry events. What do you think of Blake Lively’s red hot look? Hot or Not?
With spring comes a gorgeous variety of colors and based on the assortment of bold colors we’ve seen so far, we can’t get enough. Yellow of course is synonymous with spring and summer, sunny skies and gorgeous weather. It was a pleasant surprise when different shades of this color popped up on the Fall 2011 runways in NYC which means you’ll be able to carry over your favorite summer pieces into fall. What do you think of this color? Would you rock it or pass on it?
