2011 was no doubt a very stylish year in fashion. It was filled with trips taken back in time for style inspiration. In just a few seasons, we visited the 50s, 60s, 70s and even the 80s, taking the best from each era. As we moved through the year, we borrowed from the boys and added a feminine twist, relaxed in colored denim, glittered and sparkled in sequins, went edgy in leather and color blocked ensembles; wild in animal print, ethereal in white, ladylike in peplum  and full skirts, popped in gorgeous and shocking color; we went crazy for polka dots and floral print, stayed casual cool in stripes  and so much more.
